Professional Services

NASPD provides a professional staff to help its members succeed in the highly competitive global market place with a broad range of member services. Educational programs, workshops and seminars, information on issues critical to the industry, and a myriad of other services outlined on this website makes NASPD a powerful partner working on our member's behalf.

Conventions and Conferences

We offer first rate opportunities to meet with peers and gain new ideas at NASPD Regional Conventions and Conferences, while helping members stay on top of the newest developments in the industry. Our General Session is filled with programs on such varied subjects as national and international trade, cost management, building a competitive business, motivational programs and others geared specifically to the steel pipe and tubular products industry and related businesses. Internationally known speakers from the fields of business, politics, manufacturing, and other disciplines critical to the pipe and tube industry offer timely presentations on current topics of interest.  In addition to our General Session, we offer networking opportunities for attendees to share new concepts with their friends in the industry while enjoying various social and sports activities in great locations across the U.S., Mexico and Canada.  

Seminars and Workshops

The NASPD Education Courses consists of two certified courses taught by industry experts and specialists. The core concept of the Steel Pipe Basic Education and OCTG Specialty Course is to allow new individuals in the steel pipe industry to jump start their careers and increase their value to their employers. Participants will learn about the technical aspects of making steel, how pipe is manufactured, many important aspects of pipe specifications and all types of non-technical.

Industry Publications

Our association magazine, Pipeline, is published 3 times a year and features in-depth articles that relate to the steel pipe industry. The NASPD Tubular Products Manual is a complete tubular products information source. This publication offers the steel pipe buyer, seller, and end user the most comprehensive information on tubular products ever presented in a single publication. The NASPD Membership Directory offers complete member company business profiles including names of key contacts, officers, number of employees, locations and branches, telephone and fax numbers, product mix specifications, products manufactured, equipment, transportation, and specialty services. The Fundamentals of Steel Pipe is an invaluable tool for training new employees or just brushing up on your skills.
