Dave Wright, Dale Carnegie - "Leading Across Generations"


For over 30 years, Dave has held various leadership roles including the Dale Carnegie Sales Manager for Vancouver, Canada; Regional Manager for Oregon/SW Washington; and he is currently the President and CEO for Dale Carnegie Training of Austin/Houston/San Antonio, Texas. Since arriving in Texas, Dave Wright has led the Dale Carnegie organization to unprecedented growth and received ongoing international recognition for creating tenfold business growth over the past decade. Dave has conducted over 5,000 sessions throughout North America and is in constant demand as both a trainer and conference speaker.

Today's workforce may be comprised of as many as four generations working side-by-side. Each generation has a unique mindset, work style and way of communicating. Dave's presentation will touch on the importance of leading members of each generation, to foster an engaging and productive work environment for everyone.

Jeff Leach, Counsel at Gray Reed and Member of the Texas House of Representatives - "The Intersection of Business and Politics: What You Need to Know"


 

 

Jeff Leach's practice is focused primarily in the areas of complex commercial and civil litigation, construction law and real estate. He was recently reelected to serve his sixth term in the Texas House of Representatives, representing House District 67 in Collin County.

Since taking office in 2013, Jeff has served on the House Committee on Economic and Small Business Development, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, the House Committee on Government Transparency and Operations and the House Committee on Rules & Resolutions. He has also served as Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Urban Affairs and was elected by his colleagues to serve on the Texas House Republican Caucus Policy Committee. In addition, Jeff was assigned to chair the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence for the 86th and 87th Legislative Sessions.

At Gray Reed, Jeff serves as outside general counsel for general contractors and various other construction clients, handling everything from litigation and transactions to employment issues, regulatory compliance and taxation. He also frequently steps outside of his core practice and lends a hand to the firm's other clients in a variety of special projects.

Kurt Minnich, Pipe Logix Update - "Reading the Signs in Uncertain Times"


Kurt has 30+ years of professional experience in the petroleum industry. He is the principal author of Pipe Logix, a suite of reports covering the OCTG and line pipe markets in the US. He was previously a partner at Spears and Associates, providing market research to oilfield service and equipment companies. Other oilfield experience came from being a reservoir Engineer for an independent oil company and a Business Advisor for a major international E&P company. He holds a Petroleum Engineering degree and an MBA, both from the University of Oklahoma. Kurt is an avid soccer fan and watches games with his family in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Chad Robichaux, Force Recon Marine, Pro MMA Champion, and Author-Motivational Keynote Speakers - "The Warrior Within"


Chad is a former Force Recon Marine and DoD Contractor with eight deployments to Afghanistan as part of a Joint Special Operations Command Task Force. After overcoming his personal battles with PTSd and nearly becoming a veteran suicide statistic, Chad founded the Mighty Oaks Foundation, a leading non-profit, serving the active duty, military veteran and first responder communities around the world with highly successful faith-based combat trauma and resiliency programs. Chad is a bestselling author and has written a number of books related to veteran care and overcoming life's challenges. He is regularly featured on national media outlets and his story was notably shared in a short film by I Am Second and the documentary, Never Fight Alone. Currently, a life-story motion picture movie is being produced based on Chad's #1 best=selling book, An Unfair Advantage.

Chad is a Medal of Valor recipient for his bravery beyond the call of duty in law enforcement. Chad has earned an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology and is a board=certified pastoral counselor with a focus on PTSd. Chad is married to his wife Kathy of 27 years, and they have a daughter, two sons, and two granddaughters.
