The historic Boston Light overlooks the sea from Little Brewster Island, casting a light beam 27 miles into the Atlantic. This is the oldest continually used and last staffed lighthouse in the country, which dates back to the Revolutionary War.

Faneuil Hall, located near the waterfront, is one of the most popular sites in Boston. It has been a marketplace and a meeting place since 1743. Today, it's home to 70 retailers, dozens of food stands and restaurants and has some of the best street performers.

Seaport District The Seaport District is home of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The South Boston waterfront has more than 50 restaurants. There is also the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston Children's Museum, and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, a floating museum offering hour-long group tours.
Theatre District Performers Sept. 30 - Oct. 2 include: Alejandro Fernandez, Mary Chapin Carpenter, the Jonas Brothers and comedians Maz Jobrani and Whitney Cummings.
Copley Place is a large, modern mixed-use complex, with an upscale shopping mall, Copley Square hotels and office space. The shopping center is two stories and light filled with retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Louis Vuitton.
Downtown Crossing

Downtown Crossing is a shopping district east of Boston Common. It features large department stores, restaurants and smaller shops.
Newbury Street is located in the Back Bay area of Boston. It runs east to west from the Public Garden to Brookline Avenue. It begins just a few blocks from Boston Park Plaza. The range of shopping extends eight blocks to Massachusetts Avenue, punctuated by cafes and restaurants. Newbury Street defines high-end Boston shopping, where you'll find stores such as Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana.

The Prudential Center is a 23-acre complex of buildings. At the base of the Prudential Office Tower is one of the most popular malls in Boston. With Saks Fifth Avenue and 75 specialty retailers, restaurants and cafes, it offers something for every shopper.
