Transportation
Downtown Boston is not far from the airport. If you take Uber, Lyft or taxis it will cost about $30. Amtrak also is available if coming from New York City, New York or Portland, Maine. It is not recommended to rent a car because parking garages charge about $50 a day and street parking is limited. If you decide to take the subway, the Boston Park Plaza Hotel is about one block from the Arlington station. It costs about $2.40 per line.
