Icons of Manhattan: Midtown & Central Park Walking Tour

We'll begin at the Park Lane Hotel and head south along Sixth Avenue, passing through the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

Our first stops are St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center, two of New York City's most iconic landmarks on 47th Street. Along the way, we'll discuss their history, architecture, and role in shaping the city.

Discover Manhattan's most iconic landmarks on this guided walk from the Park Lane Hotel through Midtown and Central Park. Highlights include St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, Grand Army Plaza, The Pond, Central Park Zoo, The Arsenal, Balto, The Mall, Bethesda Terrace, The Lake, Sheep Meadow, The Dairy, and Wollman Rink. Along the way, learn the history, architecture, and stories that have made these landmarks world famous.

Distance: Approximately 3–4 miles

Terrain: Mostly flat, paved sidewalks and park paths with a few gentle slopes and stairs. Suitable for anyone comfortable walking for 2½–3½ hours.
